Just arriving to the Henry Fonda Theatre in LA for our show tonite (oh
yes, we will RAWK)… Who should greet me in my dressing room but a
bevy of cosmic country royalty– Ms. Dolly Parton (ohmigod,
ohmigod!!), a life-size, laminated Daisy Duke, a signed photo of
Johnny Cash, Willy, Waylon, and Kris Kristofferson, and a multitude of
off-color bumper stickers all over the walls… Making this officially
my favorite dressing room of all time!

Getting my mind rocked right now… If you’re in need of some heady
summer reading, may I recommend “The Spell of the Sensuous” by David
Abram… In a nutshell, he explains how we humans became so separated
from the natural rhythms of mama Earth, and then goes on to prove how
everything from our language to the most basic functions of our
cognition are dependent on her substance… Whoa.
